New Arrivals at the Concept Store «Collection. ZILART»

At the end of March, the concept store «Collection. ZILART» renewed its book selection in connection with Grisha Bruskin’s exhibition «DIES ILLA», currently on view on the 5th floor of the museum.

Visitors can deepen their experience of the exhibition through books by and about the artist. Please note that the books are in Russian.

«Past Imperfect… and More» (NLO Publishing)

A light and satirical autofiction by Grisha Bruskin, presented as a kaleidoscope of grotesque and ironic sketches about encounters, people, and circumstances. Through brief scenes of everyday life, the text reflects the absurdity of daily experience, the life of a generation, the history of unofficial art, and the individual’s encounter with history.

«Pictorial Gnosis» by Mikhail Yampolsky (Breus Foundation)

An original and independent interpretation of two major series by Bruskin: «Fundamental Lexicon and Alefbet». Although the author begins by stating that “there is essentially nothing to interpret,” he offers a free and personal reading of the artist’s work.

«Towards Bruskin» (Novoe Izdatelstvo)

A collection of texts by various authors offering a multifaceted perspective on Bruskin’s work and influence. It also includes an original essay by the artist on the theme of revolution in art, its development, and its self-dissolution.

«The Archaeologist’s Collection» (Breus Foundation)

A catalogue of the exhibition of the same name, presenting one of Bruskin’s key projects: 33 bronze sculptures that were buried underground for three years and later excavated as if they were archaeological artifacts.

«In Detail, by Letter» (NLO Publishing)

A book that completes Bruskin’s trilogy, which also includes «Past Imperfect» and «Mentally with You».
