Program Philosophy
ZILART Museum offers a transformative approach to how visitors engage with art. When developing our educational program, we shifted the focus away from academic study of art history toward experiencing art as a tool for self-exploration.
For Young Children (Ages 0–5)
Museum Sandbox
Sensory experiences and musical experiments designed as a first introduction to art.
The workshop space, also known as the Creative Island Transformer, continues the museum’s concept of familiar yet unexpected environments. Two mobile semi-circular walls can be repositioned to expand the space, while the round table configuration helps focus participants’ attention on the facilitator.
Workshops and classes for children, teenagers, and adults take place here daily. Together with art historians, artists, sculptors, and other creative professionals, participants explore form, volume, and space, learn to observe objects from multiple perspectives, and create their own artworks.
