The award was presented in recognition of their contribution to the development of the art field and for creating a new museum space that, in a short time, has become a visible part of Moscow’s cultural life.

As part of the award, the laureates receive a sculpture by artist Sergey Shekhovtsov, as well as a theatrical performance created by the team led by director Alexey Agranovich. During the ceremony, guests were invited to experience the museum through a video journey across the «ZILART» space, accompanied by a musical presentation of Nikolai Gumilev’s poem «Giraffe», performed by Yang Ge and Anatoly Kormanovsky. The updated arrangement referenced the exhibition «African Art: Gods, Ancestors, Life», currently on view at the museum.
